what does it mean if your computer uses 1200 watt

Solution
You misunderstand what the output wattage of a PSU means with regard to your domestic electricity usage.

Let's assume that a particular PC system needs a 600w PSU (the average required for most gaming computers).

If you remove that 600w PSU & replace it with a 1200w PSU, electricity usage will be exactly the same because all the computer components are the same - hence their total wattage requirement will be the same.

Just because a PC has a 1200w PSU, it doesn't necessarily mean that PC is actually consuming 1200w.
All it means is that the PSU is capable of delivering 1200w if a PC system requires it.
