I'm currently using a Samsung S24D300 monitor and I recently used the custom resolution section in NVidia Control Panel to turn it up to 1080P and 75Hz. On my monitor's menu it says the following:

HDMI
84.7kHz 75Hz NN
1920x1080

Optimal Mode
1920x1080 60Hz

I'm curious as to what the NN after 75 Hz means and I guess any other tips regarding turning up the Hz on monitor.

Thanks.

The NN, NP or PP after the refresh rate probably refers to the polarity of the input signal.

N = Negative
P = Positive

Have also seen them refered to as:

NN = -/-
PP = +/+
NP = -/+

Do I need to worry about what my input polarity is then?
