What does windows.old contain?

Hi guys,
I reinstallled windows 7 and feformated my SSD after my Windows 7 installation started acting strangely. I reinstalled windows 7. I discovered the windows.old folder. I had some PUPs in my old installation and one of them was a folder named "Mobogenie". (Its just some bizzare program for Android and Windows). Would my windows.old folderr contain this? It doesn't contain any of my personal documents. Could I delete windows.old? Please answer me ASAP.

If there's a windows.old folder, you didn't format the drive

You should be able to delete it - it's just the old install of Windows.

Have a look what's in there. I wouldn't delete it till after a year of not needing it.

It mostly has the old OS files, nothing personal or anything. The reason why I mainly want to get rid of it is because it takes up 10GB and it contains a PUP from the old installation. (well actually the PUP is just a folder that has nothing in it, and does nothing)

I did it! I got rid of windows.old. Now I have 90.8GB free of 111GB. Thank you!
