Hello everyone,
I want to start start recording some game plays of some games like fallout 4, csgo, Day z, ect at 180p 60fps. After my summer job I have about $650 to upgrade my PC and I wanted you input on what I should upgrade.
Currently I have:
Gpu- ausu gtx970
Cpu- AMD 760K Richland Quad-Core 3.8 GHz
Cpu cooler- CORSAIR Hydro Series H60
Ram- Crucial Ballistix Sport 8GB x2
Motherboard- MSI A78M-E35
I also have a 128g SSD for OS and a 1tb HDD for everyting else

I want to upgrade my motherboard and cpu
I want to upgrade my cpu to- Intel Core i7-4790K
and motherboard to- MSI Gaming Z170A GAMING M7 or ASUS Z170-A LGA 1151

Is there anything that you would suggest a little cheaper on the mother board side? I do not want to spend more than $300 on cpu and $250ish on motherboard. I don't know that much about either so in your answer can you please explain a little?

Thank you for all your help! :)

Solution
That PSU is great. The EVGA P2 850W is as good but about $30 cheaper.

Here's a cheap selection of parts today. Crazy price for the i7.

CPU: Intel Core i7-4790K 4.0GHz Quad-Core Processor ($299.99 @ Newegg)
CPU Cooler: CRYORIG H7 49.0 CFM CPU Cooler ($30.99 @ Newegg)
Motherboard: Gigabyte GA-Z97X-Gaming 5 ATX LGA1150 Motherboard ($113.99 @ SuperBiiz)

The CPU you have selected is not compatible with either of the motherboards you have selected.

You need a Z97 motherboard for the CPU, like the Gigabyte Z97X Gaming 5 for that CPU.

You need an i7 6700K for either of those motherboards.

What is your PSU. That is often in need of upgrade too.

Are you in the USA?

Yes I am In the USA. I think I'm going to upgrade to the Corsair HX850i. I am definitely open to changing any of these parts to what you would recommend.
