I have a graphic card in my PC, but I can't use it because I don't have a monitor that connects to the graphic card. And wanting to know if I needed to get a upgrade for newer games like overwatch or to just buy a monitor. Also would there be a way to tell if my graphic card is dead without hooking it up to a monitor?

Well the title of that picture says it's a GTX 460 which makes sense looking at the lack of Display Port. Looking at the picture, it also has a HDMI port so if you have a HDMI-compatible TV you should be able to test it out.

No. You can use a TV instead of a monitor. And you'll have to say what GPU and CPU you have if you want to know if you can play a certain game.

I know I need to plug it into an monitor, but my monitor doesn't have an DVI-I outlet, only a VGA outlet where as my graphic card has only DVI-I outlets. And could you click the link in the post to see if you know what graphic card it is?

I'm trying to ask people what graphic card it is by posting a link in the first post. I don't have a clue what it is, only that it's nividia.

That looks like an image he found online. If he can't tell what GPU he has by looking at the card itself, what are the chances he found an image of his card?

I found the picture because I searched the same brand up as mines and look for hours. And it's the same one because it's looks the same, has the same ports and it's identical.

Thanks, I didn't realised it said what graphic card it was on there.

I found GTX 460 1GB RAM, GTX 460 768MB RAM and GTX 560 Ti 1GB RAM that look the same and have the same ports. There might be more. To be sure, take the card out of the slot and look near the pins on the card. It should say exactly which model it is.

It's a 1gb ram because I remembered my brother talking about it while he put the graphic card in. I'm just going to upgrade to this: https://www.pccasegear.com/products/33099/gigabyte-geforce-gtx-950-windforce-oc-2gb
