Question What Graphics Card do you recommend for the following system?

Motherboard: Gigabyte GA-B75M-D3V
BIOS version: F6
CPU: Intel i5-3470
RAM: 8GB
OS: Windows 10 (64bit)


Current GPU which i intend to replace/upgrade is an MSI GeForce GT 720

I do not like its performance. Any recommendations what would be better?
Please keep in mind that my motherboard is DDR3, so is it necessary that GPU be the same?

Budget can be up to 200$..

I need at least 6GB of memory..

Can you please expand on why an RTX 3050 is not a good choice?
I like it because if one day I upgrade entire system I would still have the ability to use such a powerful card.

No, not necessary. System RAM and GPU vRAM are entirely separate.
