I bought GTA 5 for PC and it said I don't have enough video memory. I never had that happen to me before (I forgot to read the specs). The one I have now is a Radeon HD 4550 (I think it's 512 mb). Anyway, need something top of the line please and asap!

you are not going to get anything even close to top of the line without major rebuild

the best you are going to get to run on that is a low profile gtx 750 ti ( depending on your power supply wattage )

The 1st one, "N750 TI TF 2GD5 OC" says gaming and it's 400w.
the 2nd one is a little cheaper and is 450w. I'm not sure what the difference is other than that.

This is my power supply according to my model search (I didn't actually take my computer apart and look). It seems to be 240 w by default. Are you saying I need to get a new one to have a gaming graphics card?

that's why i have the link set to the small low profile version

yeah... 240w isnt going to let you get anything that can play gta5 at anything higher than 1366 x 768

I have found a workaround to Hp proprietary video upgrade issues. The original power supply links to the motherboard via 6-pin and 4-pin connectors. The motherboard then limits the amount of power that can be drawn from the connections to the add-on components. If you are savy enough, you can jump 12v+ and Negative leads directly from the power supply by soldering them in or using solderless connectors to a 6-pin video card connector. This solved my issues as the video card was not getting enough juice when there was enough 12v amperage in the power supply. Note that the lead has to come directly from the power supply before the motherboard. They also sell dedicated 5.25" 400watt and 450watt power supply units that you can add to the system to support most high end video cards. Hope this helps anyone trying to get more life out of these machines.

I was able to install and use the ZOTAC GeForce GT 730 Zone Edition 2GB DDR3 PCI Express HDMI DVI Graphics Card (ZT-71113-20L) on my HP Compaq 6000 SFF running windows 10 Pro 64 bit. Now I'm able to play World Of Warships online! which was the goal :)
