what happens if i mix mhz speeds?

i have one kingston 4gb 1333mhz ram on my secondary pc and i got another gskill 4gb but 1600mhz
what would happen if i mix them, its gonna reduce the life of the memory stick?

its a pc that i have only for work things and very casual games(lol,gta sa,cs 1.6, etc) but more ram is always nice thing

VGA MSI 6850 Cyclone.
Kingston 4Gb 1333.
Mother Asus M4N68T-M LE V2.
PSU Satellite 600Wts

They might play at 1066 or 1333 or they might not play at all - not a good idea to mix DRAM, no guarantees they will play nice - even if same exact model

thanks, so i think i will stick with 4gb ram till i can buy 2x4gb 1600mhz
