I don't understand what makes these companies think its all about the investors and how much you make or are worth, it should be about progression and competing for who makes the most flawless, innovative, and actually practical product, if they worked that way, their products would sell themselves without having to rely on public figures to allure people into buying crap they don't really need. Now its agreeable that nothing is perfect, but just saying thats what I believe the competition should be about, not money.

Now having that said, I wouldn't miss him one bit as he doesn't stand for any real progression besides financial for the company. Working in the Tech field, I have come to hate just about everything Microsoft, working with their products make me feel like I just took three steps back for one forward. Bah, I'll end my rant.

For the public you want a great sales person which is what Jobs is. But in back making the decisions is where I would want the engineer.
