Simple things. Electricity, transistors, other people that built computers before him.....easy stuff like that.

Not homework I was just curious about what type of genius he really was.
Obviously makings things fit together in smaller form factor is difficult to an extreme I was wondering if he actually had to come up with ideas about the technology that weren't being thought of at the time and in what ways.

There have been multiple books and movies about the burgeoning computer culture of the mid 70's (and before).
Woz was not the first and only.
