Martell, we have pretty comparable systems, I guess the 7600GS smokes the X1650Pro (in 3DMark, at least). I score ~3200 at my full OC on my GPU, and I've never scored as low as you got with stock 400/350DDR2 clocks. You may want to check your system out before running it again, you may have something running in the background that's dragging you down.

Edit: 1024x768 noAA noAF trilinear

I think earlier in the post I said I got 3600, which I later proved myself to be wrong.

e6600 @ 3.4ghz
8800GT 680 core 950 mem
150GB Raptor
P5W DH Deluxe mobo

around 12500... depending on the GPU clocks i'm running... I've yet to hit 13000 even with my highest OC's though.

I know with a Q6600 i'd get it easy though...

No complaints though, i play @ 1280x1024 and play every game on high details, even crysis... not with any AA though... what... you think I'm CRAZY??? :p I can play COD4 though with some AA on and full details...

I get around 14,200 with a q6600 overclocked to 3.33 GHz, 4 GB A-data DDR2, and a new BFG 8800gt 512MB overclocked to 675/1900 under XP Pro (around 13,400 with Vista Home Premium). I had an EVGA 8800gts 640MB OC in the same system and only got around 11,400. So the new 8800 GT's are a really good deal. I paid $250 for the 8800gt 512 and almost $400 for the 8800 640 GTS. The $250 card beats the $400 card by 25% My AMD X2 6000 got around 10200 with the EVGA 8800gts 640MB OC, just FYI.

Here is what my AMD 3600+ did at 2.7Ghz with the same GPU/Ram etc. compared to the E4600. (GPUs were actually clocked slightly higher in the AMD system.)

Absolutely classic! Your system's pretty good with the exception of using on-board video. With any discrete video card (built in the last 3 years) your score would go up 10-20 fold.

Its not onboard video. This is discrete baby.

Seriously I built it a while a ago it did have a x800pro which was agp. Which was getting old so I decided to get a PCIE mobo and new video card. I got the mobo. That was when the 8800gtx came out. I thought I would wait to see how DX10 panned out. Here I am now with still no new decent gpu. Going to get a 3870 when the prices calm down a little.

Funny thing is I can overclock that badboy GPU by 110%. And its passivley cooled. It still won't play anything though. It runs desktop in best appearance on XP. No 3d mark can stand up to a test like that.

That phenom must be really holding your vidcards back. My Q6600 3.15GHz with a 8800GTS 320MB 672/1050 gets 13444.

im guessing it is evilonigirl cause i was mucking around and put a 4400+ in and clocked it to 2.9ghz and i only got 10500 with everything the same but the cpu. would be interesting with a different cpu but its the best next to a highly overclocked 6400+ amd has so it will do. im happy with it i was just scrapping 12000 with a 2900xt 1gig

3dmark06- 7024, Which is one the fastest Pentium D score's I have seen. This is from a fresh install a few weeks ago (that does help a little) and on my basically stock 8800 GT (625 from 600). Good enough for now.

Dell Dimension 9150
Pentium D 930 3.0ghz
Intel i945p
2GB Crucial Ballistix 6400 ram
BFG Nvidia 8800GT (625/1800)
Dell 375 watt (450) @ 32 amp PSU
Seagate 7200.9 250 GB-x2

That Sounds like a challenge Nforce ;)

I've not finished with my rig yet, hoping to further my CPU overclock along with the RAM, tighten up my mem timings, upgrade my forceware drivers then begin work on overclocking my GPU :)

So expecting to score better soon, well soonish lol

mind u, u r running a wolfie so expect u to score rather well :) look forward to seeing wat u achieve with it
