Hey there,

Well, sadly your CPU is too weak to drive anything higher than already recommended. Getting a new GPU may bring a small performance bump, but your CPU will determine the max frames you get from any GPU.

That CPU is 15 years old now and wasn't ever considered particularly powerful even during its time.

Best bet at this point is to keep stuffing some money away while hunting for a FAR newer used system, or complete build of something new. Even if you could find a used system comprised of a 4th gen Intel CPU and some middling card like a 580 or 1060 it would be a very large improvement over anything you could do to that 605e

If your absolutely stuck with your current system and yes I agree with getting something newer a cheap gamble would be a used GTX 960.

Keep in mind it's just a band aid but being you have stayed this long with a GT 730 the GTX 960 is a big jump.
