I got a good deal on an HP Z4 G4 tower workstation with an i9-7900x that came with a Microsemi 2100-4i4e SATA/SAS Controller that just might be more than I bargained for. I am having a hard time finding somewhere how to use it and why I should use it. I also noticed that when I took out the card, the workstation would not boot without it. What do I have to do to turn this off, so I can boot without it. Since I don't understand it, I'm figuring I don't need it, at least for now.
