What is a network key

I tried to use a new laptop given to me by the company I work for. When attempting to use the internet I got a request for a "network Key" field. Is that my password? If I do a hard boot and go that route will I be able to reset everything?

You need to access the router's user setup screens and review or renew the wireless security type and password.

Have a look at the literature which came with the router or download the manual from the maker's site.
