The problem that I have with ATTO is that it uses data for the benchmark that is readily compressable. For many applications this is not realistic. For SSDs this is important as most SSDs are used as a OS + program drive and therefore most data is not readily compressable. I prefer to use AS SSD as it uses compressed data or its benchmark - closer to real life. My first choice when comparing performance for SSDs is to look at reviews that use PCMark vantage.
For HDDs ATTO is Ok. Note: sequencial performance is the LEAST important matrix for a OS + program drive, the 4 K ramndom performance is what is important. For HDDs and working with LAGE Data files, Sequencial performance is important.
SSD manuf tout Sequencial performance - Yuk.
