So Im thinking about getting an (AMD FX-8370 X8 4.0GHz - 4.0GHz FX Series Processor - 4.3GHz Turbo, L2 8MB Cache, 125 Watt, Socket AM3+)
----------------
But I currently have the AMD FX 6300 (3.52GHz) which do you think is better to have the one I have? Or the one I want to get?

Solution

Depends on your motherboard. This three minute video shows you how to do it with ASUS BIOS: https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=lC9ALZ_gm-0 different CPUs but you would do the same thing.

You do not need water cooling a good quality air cooler will also do.

My PC has these specs as I know of... AMD FX 6300 (3.52GHz) RAM- 16GB Ripjaws, 1TB Hard drive, Graphics card (4GB GeForce GT 640) cooling holds up to 8 fans currently have 6 PC runs after a while at 38°C

You only need water cooling for aggressive overclocks. You can normally OC FX series by 0.5GHz without even touching the voltage. I OC'd my 8320 from 3.5GHz to 4.2GHz without touching voltage, and only increased temps by about 3-5C. I use a CM 212 EVO for cooling ($30). Depending on your motherboard you should be able to do this by only tweaking 2 or so settings.

Any specific tutorial on where I can learn how to over clock my CPU? To at least 4.0GHz?
