What is CPUID or "CPU-Z" ??

I have Asus motherboard and intel processor.When installing the mb software, there is an option to install a utility called CPU-Z. When I started to install it, it gave an option for Asus (black) or Tuf (green). I cancelled because I didn't know which to pick or what that utility is used for.

Any info would be great.

It just shows your CPU/Motherboard/ram info

Clock speeds, voltages etcetc.
