What is network 2 internet access

Hello,
I have the same problem with my internet access and the same messsage in the window as the person who commented previously. Slow connection, in and out, and a little square box in the bottom right corner of my screen that doesn't go away when I'm online that says Network 2 Internet Access. This is obviously symptomatic of something, but what?

"person who commented previously" could be one of a 1,000 posts. There are not only two people on here, you and the other guy.

First thing to do is reboot the router and the computer. The square box is just a status icon that tells you that the network connection 2 is connected. It shows up when you select "always show connection icon" in network properties.
