[SOLVED] What is the AMD chipset driver?

Solution
Not necessarily performance improvements, but system stability and features.

Windows installs the barebones experience for compatibility purposes, so all of the more "advanced" features of the chipset require the drivers to be installed. Much like when you install a new GPU, if you actually want to use it, you need the drivers or you'll just get a barebones experience with it.

You have to click the Windows 10 chipset drivers text to expand it, then click the download link. If it does not start the download when you do that then make sure you do not have any popup blockers enabled, or disable ublock origin, or similar blockers. You might also need to temporarily disable tracking protection in your browsers options.
