Solution
batteries in notebooks are using 18650 batteries (industrial li-ion)
lookin at specs of your notebook/battery its using 3 cells
which means 3 of those batteries are inside
best u can find would be samsung 3600mah (samsung 36G 18650)
its high quality battery (can feed continuously up to 10A (120watts with 3 cells))
3 batteries would cost ~20$
if u never worked with li-ion before, better get somebody who knows whats doing, its higly explosive when it shorts
there are companies who can replace old batteries (cells) with newer ones (not really cheap)

here some video

For a total of 10800 mAh?

As I mentioned above, I've replaced a battery in a Chromebook before. Should I do it manually? I don't really know anybody else who's replaced a laptop battery before.

Is there a guide for Windows 8.1?

nope, for total 3600MAh @ 12.1 volts
its paralel connected, MAh doesnt change, voltage goes up (3x 3.7V)

its similar to replacing AAA batteries, just some soldering or hot glue there

Is there a guide for Windows 8.1?
it should be similar, u just fully charge it, drain it, fully charge again
same as u do with phone batteries when u get new phone
