No, you come across GDDR5 and DDR3, there is no DDR5 yet -- they just released DDR4 in limited supply and no motherboards will use it until the Fall.
GDDR5 -- Graphics Double Data Rate v. 5 -- is specialized video memory based on DDR3 architecture.
The card with the GDDR5 will be faster and more expensive than that will regular old DDR3 that you use on your motherboard with a different connector.
With the release of DDR4, GDDR6 is on the way (since it is based on DDR4) -- speculation is the second quarter and it will be a speed improvement over GDDR5.
