What is the difference between integrated and dedicated graphic cards?

I would like to know what is the difference between integrated and dedicated graphic cards and which is the best and of which company?

integrated video cards are either part of the CPU (AMD A6 or A8) or part of the chipset and cannot be changed. they are okay for regular office work and internet access.

dedicated video cards are a separate card that can be replaced and are needed for gaming, or video and graphic editing.
