I am looking to buy a new gaming mouse to upgrade from my 8 year old Logitech G500. Up until now I knew about Polling Rate where most gaming mice range from 500hz to 1000hz.
But there's this mouse I just took a look at out of interest. GranVela M9 Gaming Mouse
Granvela M9 it says it has Sampling time: 1MS and Rate of return: 125/250/500/1000 Hz.
Now my confusion is what are the differences between the 2? If polling rate is 1000 Hz what is Sampling Rate 1ms and is it important? Or does it mean practically the same thing?
I am also looking at this mouse. Mars Gaming MM5
Mars Gaming MM5 Polling Rate is also 1000 Hz but absolutely no mention of Sampling Rate.
Yet I've seen another mouse from GranVela again but Polling Rate is 500 Hz and Sampling Rate is 2ms. Does that mean that Polling Rate of 500 Hz= 2ms Sampling Rate and 1000 Hz=1ms Sampling Rate or does it mean something different?
Many thanks.
