What is the fastest USB thumb drive? What brand?

Is there any difference among different brand / model of USB thumb drive? Is there any standard or testing software to prove?

Because I am going to buy one especially for Windows Vista Ready Boost function.

The fastest one on the market atm that I know of is the SanDisk Ducati models that come in 4GB, and those have a read and write speed of 20megabytes per second.....other thumb/flash drives are usually around 3mbs

The Corsair Flash Voyager GT is currently the fastest I know of. (not to be confused with the lower-end Corsair Flash Voyager)
Read at 34MB/s
Write at 28MB/s
Random access time: 1.2ms (compared to a massive 33.3ms for the Flash Voyage)

I like Sandisk thumbdrives because they are fast and compatible with Readyboost. I have another Kingston Mini DT and the built is rather weak and not solid at all. It looks like it is going to break into two very soon. Right now the cover has broken and it is not compatible with ReadyBoost. I heard that there is a modification of registry where you can enable normal thumbdrive to use as Readyboost.

However, I would not use the settings because since it is not compatible, it means that the speed is not up to the standard. Thus, all I can do is to have Sandisk connected as ReadyBoost and Kingston on the move.
