Hello,
i have bought a new gaming PC and i cant play good games. When i play assassins creed origins it laggs.
where is the problem of my PC? maybe i need a better Prozessor?
That are the statics of my pc.

AMD FX-8300 Octa-Core Prozessor
16GB DDR3 RAM
256GB SATA-III SSD
2TB SATA-III HDD
NVIDIA GeForce GTX 1070 (8GB GDDR5) Grafikkarte
AMD Sockel AM3+ Mainboard
450W Corsair
Windows 10 Professional - 64Bit

Did you built this? Or buy it pre-built?

And FX8300 + 1070 is a horrible pairing. The FX's architecture is extremely dated and underwhelming.

As for "lags".... how so? Frame drops? Freezing? What kind of settings/resolution are you playing at?

While it's a poor pairing of CPU+GPU, it should still be capable of playing the game.

Which "450W" from Corsair? 180W TDP from the GPU, 95W(?) for the CPU....... if it's one of their poorer offerings, it's probably not helping the situation.
A modern CX450 etc, should be sufficient.

i have bought it.
laggs are like frame drops

are this statics better?
Intel Core i7-8700,
16GB RAM, 256GB SSD + 1TB HDD,
GeForce GTX 1070,
FreeDOS 2.0

thank you for your answer

Monitor your CPU/GPU/RAM usage...... tools like MSI Afterburner, HWMonitor.... or even Task Manager in Windows can help.

When you're suffering these issues, are any of the key components maxed out at 100% usage?

Yes, that second system is a substantially better gaming setup.

Can you still return the first system? If so, absolutely - the second system is substantially better.

If you cannot return the first.... you may take a pretty sizable loss on it, and I'd suggest selling the CPU/MB/RAM and replacing with a modern platform (either Intel or AMD Ryzen), rather than buying a whole new PC.

I will call the service.
if they dont change. can i change the Prozessor to Intel® Core™ i7 8700 on the mainboard?
or i need a new mainboard for that?
