What is this CHIP ? Can you answer ?

Well the only update I have at this time is :

Retailer called me back 7:30pm EST .. gave me the FedEx tracking number for my CPU .. said it was sent out OverNight Priority for Saturday delivery .. so, I went up on FedEx's website .. verified what they had told me .. and correct.

I will have the CPU (wether original or not, I don't know yet) tomorrow by 12 noon.

So .. you'll hear from me by 12 noon tomorrow .. Saturday, January 27th.
 
please keep us updated. remember my tips, check the factory sealed stickers in both sides and make sure the cpu inside doesnt say ES.

test it once you get it! dont forget
 
+ take many many pics of documents in case this somhow gets out of hand and extreme legal action is needed, but then the european union steps in and says apple needs to let people put their music on non-ipod players which then intel rewards all of us with cpus for a lifetime ( one of each cpu per launch) but then intel is suddenly bankrupt and lordgeek gets to become ceo and we become his advisors.

I have that same feeling of anticipation that i had when i was waiting for Lord of the Rings 3 to come out...... Except waiting for this is doing my head in even more! :cry:
 
If I don't check my mail every five minutes, I will die. It's a condition I have. And I hate all communication in general.

LOL, try being me. I have 3 different Yahoo accounts, all belonging to about 100 Yahoo groups each. I now only look at messages that have attachments, as reading that many a day would kill someone. I still have two accounts with over 3000 messages each, at 90%+ filled. I swear I need a vacation from work just to deal with all of this...

This chip received : QMYP ES L610A773 A0257

Different chip.

Off to Intel it goes.

But this is way more intresting then if they'd actually provided you with proper products and a good service.

Hope Intel sort this one out for you and kick the scumbags ass who sold you the piece of crap!!! :twisted:

OMG Thats Amazing! 2 of them! hahahaha! this company really dont know how to make business. They are going to close soon because right now, you should be calling Intel and bringin this to court :twisted:

per my agreement with some people (hehe) .. I cannot give ANY names what-so-ever.

Please don't get on me about this .. I'm sure that most of you understand the position I'm in .. but truthfully .. I am very greatful with the wealth of information I have obtained from here .. it is extremely surprising just how much information is there that alot of people do not know is available to them .. just by asking a simple question .. as I did.

I have already contacted Intel this morning .. I will keep you all posted as to the outcome .. but until then, my lips are sealed in regards to names until told differently.
 
I first contacted Intel on Saturday, January 20th .. they contact me on Monday, January 22nd .. I have been in constant contact with them through this whole ordeal via email and phone.

Believe me .. they have everything I have in regards to ALL of this .. and pretty soon .. will have physical evidence :)

I see, but are they taking this seriously? how is your experience with them?
 
To .. YES, I definately think they are taking is seriously .. they are well aware of the online retailer in question. My experience with them so far through all of this has been great .. no communication problems anywhere.

As to the ending result of all this between the Retailer and Intel .. that I would not know .. again, all I can say is that they have a good standing knowledge of this online retailer.

As soon as someone from Intel gets back to me in regards to a shipping address .. they will soon have physical evidence in there hands to support my claim .. it was the idiots at the retailer that screwed up by sending me yet another ES chip .. DUH !!!!
