Question What is this discoloration on the monitor?

Is it a pressure mark? Something must have happened recently but I didn't notice this until now as it is only really visible with a white or grey background.

also show how it looks with regular screenshots.

from what i can see it looks like fluid stain or damage.

I am pretty sure it’s not liquid as I haven’t put any liquid near the monitor. Will put some more shots later.

I can barely see it on nonwhite background.

still difficult to determine with only two images but the "pattern" still appears what would be a fluid spread.
it's also possible that too much pressure on the bezel could causing this discoloration and "bleeding" affect across the pixels though.

contact the manufacturer for RMA
or if purchased recently the retailer for return/exchange.
