Hello Everyone:
I have a custom PC being built - and the company has sent me some pictures of it during assembly. I am a little out of touch with the hardware scene and I am just curious as to what the little board is below the AMD backplate on the following image. I have outlined it in blue.
Picture of mystery component
I am just curious! I do not think it very important, possibly something to control the LED's maybe?
EDIT: I have uploaded a bigger picture - not great quality, but out of my control.
FURTHER EDIT:
I received multiple helpful responses to my original question, yet unfortunately, a moderator seemed more focused on whether the image was high-resolution and explaining why my question supposedly couldn’t be answered. Aren’t these forums supposed to be about helping each other? To those who provided constructive answers—thank you! I’m confident now it’s an RGB/Fan controller.
To the moderator: maybe reconsider how you interact with people. This was my first, and now my only, post in this forum. Goodbye!
Thanks!
