Hello,
I really need to recover some space on my C: drive. So in searching for things to consider for removal, I discovered 14.6 gigs in the above sub-directory that are related to three versions of .NET framework. There are about 90 pairs of these files. One of the files in each pair is about 14.5 megs in size and is a .txt file; and, the other is about .5 megs in size and is a .html file. These files date from a few years ago to a month ago. The big files are in the format: 'Microsoft .NET Framework 2.0-KB958481_20090815_082038375-Msi0.txt'
First question is "can I remove them?".
Secondly, what are they and why are they there?
Thanks for any help you can give me with this issue!
