I think most of people love to help foreigners to learrn a few french.
But even if you can't speak the language, as soon as you show some effort, you won't have any problem.

When i was a student, i used to work in Hertz company during the summer.
I was much more friendly and ready to help foreigners who greeted me in French. Even if "bonjour" was the only word in their vocabulary.
But we also know that French is not an easy language to learn.
I still remember an american family who was ready to go with their rental car, but then stop the car and open the window to ask me how to pronounce "merci".
That was funny. =)

I would love to see Europe before I die.Especially France and England.I am sick of Asia living here for over 9 1/2 years now.Meaning the Philippines.

I would most like to visit France in terms of Europe, my wife was there earlier this year for a month ... with her sister. Such a beautiful place, and she said the people really liked Australians, and the food was fantastic.

I had a French mate called Christian who was an argumentative arrogant buggar who I miss a lot since he moved to Cairns.

I like the French because they tell it how it is ... they have "foot in mouth" disease just like Australians.

:)

From the United States. Would love to visit Denmark. Great grand parents are from Denmark and my mother always told me that growing up, even woke up one morning after a "little" to much to with a tattoo in Danish on my arm. So now I am forcefully pretty interested in the country.

My 2 favourite countries are England and Canada. I lived in Vancouver BC about for 6 months great city and great fresh air and nice people.

I'm from Ohio and I'd love to visit Texas! (Ha, joking)

It's difficult to pick just one. I like seeing other cultures and learning about other people. Japan and Italy would be at the top of my list, but I think African and South American countries are often overlooked. I'd love to narrow down my interests to one or two on each of the continents.

I prefer exotic travel. I have been to Botswana, Kenya, Peruvian Rain Forest and other famous places in Peru. I never even dreamed of visiting places like that or doing the things I have done. When I re read my journals, it's hard to believe I have been there, done that.

I am glad you are safe and your family there. We are behind your country 100% and so are other countries to stamp out this vermin Isis once and for all.
