Here is what I have currently:
Operating System: Windows 7 Ultimate 32-bit (I used 64 bit before but reformat temporarily because I suspected virus affected the system due to crazy shutdown)
System Manufacturer: MICRO-STAR INTERNATIONAL CO.,LTD
System Model: MS-7519
Processor: Intel(R) Core(TM)2 Quad CPU Q9550 @ 2.83GHz (4 CPUs), ~2.8GHz
Memory: 4096MB RAM
Available OS Memory: 3072MB RAM
Card name: NVIDIA GeForce GT 630
Manufacturer: NVIDIA
Chip type: GeForce GT 630
DAC type: Integrated RAMDAC
Display Memory: 2258 MB
Dedicated Memory: 978 MB
Shared Memory: 1279 MB
Current Mode: 1920 x 1080 (32 bit) (60Hz)
Monitor Name: Generic PnP Monitor
Monitor Model: E2250
Monitor Id: GSM578C
Native Mode: 1920 x 1080(p) (60.000Hz)
Model: SAMSUNG HD120IJ ATA Device, total Space: 114.4 GB
Model: SAMSUNG HD322HJ ATA Device, total Space: 305.2 GB
Power Supply: Cooler Master 500 RS-500-PCAR-D3 (is it 500W?)
*Problem:
My pc always shutdown whenever I start to play game.
I have tried to replace the power supply before but it was ok for 1 month and then
the problem happen again. I also bought a new graphic card gigabyte gt630 1G.
The previous graphic card was geforce 9600. The pc run fine after replacing the
graphic card. It is not BSOD .. it was like someone plug off the power.
I already reinstall the graphic driver. Heat problem? uhm.. no idea because
I did not monitoring the temperature. Quite clean inside, not too dusty.
Upgrade purpose:
1. high intense graphic game
2. solidworks
3. hd movie
4. photoshop
What do I need to replace what not to replace?
Is it worth to upgrade mobo or processor?
Thanks in advance.
Budget for upgrade: Max USD486
(lcd is excluded)
