Hi, i just bought 3 HDMI cables to connect to my pc, but when i went to connect them, i found out that they only matched the one socket at the right and i have no idea what the others are for / how to use them.
Are they a different model of HDMI, other kind of cable, do i need other cable or other connector ?

Thanks in advance.

(there are 4 sockets, after the one at the right there is another one thats equal to the first 2, (the video card is an EVGA GTX 980 Classified if that helps))

Honestly, in my opinion it's about the same to the average user. Sure technical details will say different, but at the end of the day, you just want it to work, right?

Also no need for adapters. The link I put in will work just fine. Just put the DisplayPort in the back of the card, and the HDMI part on the monitor. I'm working with two of them and one HDMI.

It is far from brand new. It's been almost 10 years.

Dp has been superior in specs since its release but most people don't use the extra capabilities. If these displays are just the common 1080p/60, it won't be about the same, it will be exactly the same.
