What kind of wireless adapter should I get for my desktop?

I'm thinking about getting a wireless adapter for my desktop computer, and I was wondering which one is best: a USB one or a PCI Express one? And why? Any information would be helpful! Thank you!

At least a PCI one frees off a USB port, and if you're like me, need them all... best bet unless you plan usng the PCI slot in the future...
