What laptop would you recomend?

I'm going to be using the laptop for watching videos, DVD's, surfing the internet, music and other media related stuff. I will also need it to be suitable for college work. The specs that I would prefer are 4gb of memory, 500gb of hdd, i5 or better including amd chips. I'd prefer a bigger screen as well, as I will be using it to watch movies. Please don't suggest dell as I already have one and it is not that great. My budget is between 500-700 euro, maybe a bit over 700 if the laptop is worth it.

no I wont be moving it much and I would prefer a 17" screen if the specs meet my requirements.

Also I saw this laptop below and thought it looked ok but I was wondering how the processor compares to the i5. It very cheap so I was wondering why.
