what makes the graphic card capacitor to blow up?

im still not sure this Gigabyte 460W GE-R460-V1 will support 8800gt.. Using my calculation...max output only 400watt and peaks 460watt... combined of +3.3v and +5v only 152watt max.. so left about 248watt for the 12v rails which is only 20.6amps. can any1 confirm this? do correct me if i calculate this wrongly
 
the way i see it is if you're gonna get a good gpu/rig setup, then why try and play the cheap as possible psu game if ya know there are stories out there that a el-cheapo will knock out your entire investment?

pay close attention to the +12v rail amps AND how many +12v rails there are. when you do this you will quickly find yourself in the 600w PSU range! i'm not doggin ya! i just want you to see it for what it is: you're gonna spend at least 100bones for a good PSU! good luck.
 


Can you show me where you got the numbers from to get the 152 watts ?
