What memory to use?

As it stands now I have looked for a review of a 3x2gb DDR3-1333 and have yet to see one or a real shootout comparison to 1066, 1600 etc. Here is my build please give me advice on memory and anything else you think I would get better bang for my buck out of.

From what I could tell 1333 would be fine for the clock speed. Any advice is greatly appreciated I want to buy this asap.

How about this RAM: OCZ 1600. It has lower latencies than most 1600mhz sticks.

I have seen some posts of people having problems with OCZ 6gb memories only showing 4gbs.

They're probably using a 32-bit OS. You need a 64-bit OS to even fully address 4GB of RAM. I've seen more than one noob who used a 32-bit OS on their new i7 build with 6GB of RAM post a "OMG my RAM must be faulty, I'm only seeing 3GB!! HELP!!!" thread.

That would be true if you were running a 32 bit OS... It would only recognize somewhere in the 3.3gb range. 64 bit OS will recognize all...

People were saying they used 64 bit os and it was happening but specifically with OCZ 3x2gb kits and the p6t deluxe v.2 motherboards.

Thanks as long as you have real world experience...sometimes I wonder when reading posts how many people really understand the difference between 64bit and 32bit.

ezkiller-do you know which kit your friend has? I'm thinking about going with the 4850x2 that is on newegg and it offers several options for memory bundled discounts. Just wondering if any of them are good that are included.

since 4850's cost $99 or less wouldnt it be better idea to buy 2 of them and crossfire them ? Cheaper than a 4850 x2 and just as fast

You can't really rely on the Newegg reviews, but you'll notice that quite a few people are running the RAM on Asus P6T boards with no problems. You'll probably need to manually set the RAM speed/timings/voltage in the BIOS, but you should do that anyway.

20 bucks difference one slot. Does it run the same for games that do not support crossfire ie the second gpu does nothing?
