Do you have another socket to plug your graphics card into? If so, try doing that and see if it stops the problem.
If not, then this is what I would do. Uninstall all nvidia drivers. Run Driver Sweeper (you can google and download it) and remove all nvidia drivers with it. Then restart the computer and see if windows gets a driver. If it does, then try playing your games and see if you still have the issue. If windows doesn't find a driver, then install the one from nvidia and then try. If you have the original CD that came with your graphics card, try that driver and see how it works.
