What mouse mat should I get?

So I am interested in buying a gaming mousepad.

I have a Corsair M50 mouse and run on 8200 DPI. I don't need a massive mouse pad because of my high DPI setting and also because my desk is quite small.

I was looking at getting a SteelSeries QCK Heavy/QCK+, however, I read that the average life span for the mouse pad was 5-6 months which is not appealing to me.

I'm looking for a mouse pad which has a very long life span, as well as one that's comfortable and fits on my desk at home (basically a regular size mousepad).

What are your recommendations? I'm especially interested in those who have tested a lot of the gaming mouse pads.

I don't have a budget but we're looking at the price range of £20. I can go higher but I would need total assurance (and good reviews from others when I research it) that it isd a top quality mouse pad which is comfortable and lasts years at the very minimum and the texture doesn't peel off, change, and the mouse doesn't operate differently on it over time.

I have no material preference for the mouse mat. It can be hard or soft. I just don't want the hard texture being dented or a soft cloth peeling off in a short space of time.
