Budget: $100 - $115 (I'd prefer under $100 but if it's like $110 that's fine too)

PC Specs:
cpu: i7-12700F
motherboard: MSI Pro Z690-A
gpu: rtx 3070
ram: 32gb
storage: 5tb (total)
current PSU: Thermaltake smart 700 watt

Side question: Is it a good idea to put 2 GPUs in a pc? I have an old gpu (1660 Super) would it be fine to put it in my current pc? would it make games run any faster? sometimes i use blender would using more than 1 GPU make it render faster?

Extra side question: does anyone know if the samsung A54 is a good phone? (has quality camera, can play games like asphalt without lagging or freezing, etc)

For the side question running 2 GPUs doesn't help anymore. I also believe that SLI required both GPUs to be the same so it wouldn't have worked with a 1660 Super and 3070.

randomly found this one: https://pcpartpicker.com/product/CF...odular-atx-power-supply-corereactor850g-bkcus

how do the ones you posted compare to it? which one is better?

That one is a good PSU but I wouldn't get it. The two I linked at ATX 3.0 PSUs whereas the ADATA is an ATX 2.4. At this point in time there is no reason to buy a new PSU that isn't ATX 3.0/3.1.

Information on the ATX 3.0 specification.

If your current psu works ok, then why replace it??

Your i7-12700F is a very competent cpu so you might be thinking of a much stronger psu in order to be able to handle a much stronger graphics card.
On that:
Do not try to buy cheap. Look for a psu with at least a 7 to 10 year warranty.

Buy stronger than you need. 850w or more.
Incremental cost to 950w may be only $20.
It will only use the power demanded of it, regardless of the max capability.
And it will be running at the most efficient middle third of it's range.

SLI, or the cooperative use of two identical gpu's for gaming is no longer supported and was never a really good idea anyway.
Installing a second gpu is supported, but usually for other reasons such as attaching many monitors.
Rendering would possibly use your main gpu.
Note that with a non F processor, the integrated graphics would get you quick sync.

Thank yall for everything I've decided on the Thermaltake Toughpower GF3 850W for $109.99

and to answer geofelt's question about why replace it. Yes it's true it works just fine but i like to plan for the future and i like to upgrade my pc over time. So eventually my current psu will be inefficient with higher tier GPUs, motherboards, CPUs, etc.

**idk how to set an accepted answer i don't see the option anywhere so if anyone else sees this jeremyj_83 is the accepted answer**
