Hi, I'm Currently using a OCZ GamexStream 700W PSU I Bought used back in August or September of 2013, It Appears to still be holding up though I was Thinking of upgrading to Something newer & More Efficient as AFAIK it's not 80+ Certified (Granted from what I can tell it was released around the infancy of 80+), so I was wondering what Tier it would be considered as nowadays & was wondering if someone could recommend a budget 80+ PSU to Replace it with (Budget preferably in the $30-50 Canadian Range, $80-90 Max).

Don't use tiers, that is a horrible way to go about PSUs and anything really.

The PSU is 12 years old, group regulated, build quality isn't very good, crappy performance, loud, no under voltage protection, no over temperature protection... Shouldn't even be considered nowadays.

Where are you located, what is your budget, and what is your build?

ok, bumping the thread instead of making a new one. currently got my computer in for repairs at a place I used to volunteer at and during some testing & troubleshooting today I found out that there's a problem with my old OCZ PSU so it needs to be replaced sooner then I planned, so I'm looking for a replacement & hoping for some suggestions.
to start off, I looked on my local classifieds & found 3 that I might be able to get within budget ($90 Canadian is my maximum as of right now, would prefer to spend less if possible) with a decent amount of wattage that wouldn't be overkill for what I have (1000W+) while not lacking (there's some 500W & under power supplys listed, looking for 600W to 750ishW), here's what I found:
Thermaltake TR2 RX 750W for $80:
https://www.kijiji.ca/v-computer-components/kitchener-waterloo/thermaltake-750w-bronze-power-supply/1342336858

EVGA 750W Supernova G2 (Warranty replacement so new but with old cables), listed for $125 but lowest the seller would take is $90:
https://www.kijiji.ca/v-computer-components/kitchener-waterloo/evga-750-g2-gold-power-supply/1382283434?

Corsair HX750i, listed for $110 but I'm hoping the seller will take less, sent a message so just waiting for a reply back:
https://www.kijiji.ca/v-computer-components/kitchener-waterloo/corsair-hx750i-modular-power-supply/1384286905?

New Thermaltake TR2 600W for $60 firm:
https://www.kijiji.ca/v-computer-components/kitchener-waterloo/new-thermaltake-600w-power-supply/1373498091?

Brand New still wrapped Corsair TX750M listed for $120, asked what the lowest they would take and got a reply of "maybe $100?", so if $100 is the rock bottom price then that's $10 over budget, I could live with that if it's worth the extra $10 over the EVGA): https://www.kijiji.ca/v-computer-components/kitchener-waterloo/corsair-tx750m-psu-750w-80-gold-new-120/1379941817?

as for a brand new PSU from a store, ca.pcpartpicker.com only shows 1/2 options within my search criteria (up to $78(+tax (& maybe shipping)), semi or fully modular, 80+ Bronze or better), a Rosewill Glacier 600M or 700M, both are listed for $75 at Newegg while the 600W is $77 at PC-Canada.com & the 700W is $90+ from Amazon.

of those, what would be the best to go for & any others you people can think of/find?
