Hello other forumers (is that even a word 😛)
I am planning to build my own costum PC. I want to use it to play minecraft., mainly modded, recording and live streaming. Editing is also a need thing (not to super professional though). Right now after some research I came to this computer. I might want to change the core to an AMD though. Because minecraft uses (since 1.8) more cores. My choice would be the fx 8350. Any ideas where to change?

Don't go with AMD to be honest. Single Core performance is what you need for minecraft mostly, and an I5 will give you that.
Go with 8GB of ram. I do recording/live streaming and I am not in any way held back by 8GB. Also, use PCPartpicker.
You could downgrade the case to something a little less flashy, maybe a Define R4/R5, or a Corsair Obsidian 450D
If you will only play Minecraft, a downgrade in the video card department would be good. A GTX 960 or a R9 380 would be a good replacement.

AMD would be more than fine. I have an AMD rig I built myself for 2k USD and I run Minecraft WAY over the full 6, or even the 120 mark. The problem I see with your build, is that the parts do not go together. The motherboard has to be a specific socket in order for it to actually fit the CPU. So, say you want to use the FX8350. You'd need and AM3+ motherboard (Like the ASUS M5A97 R2.0 for 112 USD), which is going to be not only cheaper than the Intel core, but it would be better for other games down the road. Obviously the extra cores and ram and such would be a great help to livestreaming (from experience), and you can stick with the new 380 :)

AMD is kind of okay for budget builds, but if you are going to spend that much on the rest of the system, I don't see the point of going AMD. AMD is old, and just simply gets outperformed in almost everything by a simple I5. Also, with AMD you need a decent cooler to avoid high temperatures, whereas the intel CPU's are more efficient and do just fine with the stock coolers.

I don't know where you Intel fans get your information about AMD. I went to a 6300 from an i5 and it is so much better. Even before I had watercooling, my temps never went over 38c... So, the stock coolers are just fine with AMD. Don't misinform people without having either experience, or information from a non-biased source.

Yes, that will work, but for recording and streaming your build will not suffice. You'll experience a lot of in-game drops because of the processor. Take a look into the AMD build I suggested.

No framedrop while recording/streaming with these settings. I still stand, the I5 will OUTPERFORM the AMD 8350. Do some research. 2/100 would maybe say the AMD is better for streaming, maybe it was a bad test.

I am out of here, going on vacation. But for the love of god, even for any current build that is over $1500 DONT go AMD CPU. The I5 4460 and a B85 will be even better.

*Dodges your fedora and heavy breathing* anyone can fake a test lol I previously said I've had i5s in the past lol

Also, if you're gonna prove a point, make the video public instead of private.

So wait, please repeat again and maybe with some benchmark scores, what core should I get. The prices between an i5 4460 and a fx 8350 are like around €10, is that because Intel is cheap (mostly not as far as I know) or because amd is expensive (don't think this one too...). I really don't want to make a bad choice... As I already mentioned, mostly playing minecraft +recording/livestreaming + heavy mods and shaders.

Well, AMD is far cheaper than Intel. The FX 8350 would be a nicer choice for streaming as CPU and RAM usage are quite high when using programs to stream such as OBS, and Gaming Evolved. So, say you go with the FX 8350. You'd have to choose an AM3+ motherboard, which would also save you money because decent AM3+ mobos are typically under 70 dollars !

Awesome! And yeah, the rest of your build should be fine, just make sure you get a motherboard to match your processor! The PSU and RAM would be perfect to support your card, but you'd have to upgrade your PSU down the road to crossfire!

Yeah! Sentey PSU's are really nice for a lot of power for cheap :) The Corsair one you have will be perfect, though! And no problem! Hope I was able to give you the best answer to this, I know it's hard to decide on things!

Well that is a quad-core, at 3.4 GHz, for about $250. The Quad-core AMD FX-4300 is 3.8GHz, and only $100 (USD). It would be, but the performance is a bit lower on the Intel, and they still charge an extra $150 for it

yes, but their quads are the same price as Intel's single, so I see no need to spend more for intel

You mean intel's dual core right? Minecraft is a single core game, yet as far as I have heard AMD's CPU's are great for multi core games, but not for games as minecraft. Also the Xeon can make more virtual cores, because it has hyper threading. So that's what I think makes Intel better, or am I mistaken?

I think you're mistaken, I have had multiple quad to 6 and 8 core cpus and I've run minecraft at over 200 fps :)
