What should I do in this scenario?
There is a system with an Asus Prime Z890-P motherboard and an iCUE H150i ELITE CAPELLIX XT Liquid CPU Cooler (360mm).
In the Asus manual, it is written:
"For water cooling kits, connect the pump connector to the AIO_PUMP header."
NOTE:

  • When connecting a single CPU fan, you may connect it to either the CPU_FAN or CPU_OPT header.
  • When connecting two CPU fans, ensure that the fans are connected to both the CPU_FAN and CPU_OPT headers, and make sure both fans are the same brand and model.
However, in the Corsair manual, it is written:
"Connect the pump tach cable to the CPU_FAN header on your motherboard."

So, should I connect it to CPU_FAN or AIO_PUMP?

Yes, follow the instructions for the AIO system from its maker, Corsair. This cooling system does things a little differently from the way most mobos are set up. Actual control of its pump and rad fans is done by the iCUE software that communicates its settings to the pump unit via tits separate cable to a mobo USB2 header. But is is important that the pump speed signal is sent to the CPU_FAN header to be monitored for failure. So DO connect that three-hole female connector from the pump to CPU_FAN.
