Fix Current PC for $200 or trade in for a new PC for $480 (after trade in value)

neither of those is a good option honestly.

where are you at that such old parts cost so much? what is wrong with the current pc that it will cost $200 to fix? need a lot more info to go on to even begin to offer some good solid advice. start with what is going on with the pc, how/who is working to fix it, where you live and anything else you can think of to help us help you
