[SOLVED] what should i upgrade besides gpu?

so i wanted to upgrade my pc from 1050ti to 2060.. heres my current spec

i5 7500
b250f asus
1050ti
cx550m
16 gb ram ddr4(?)

should i upgrade something else? are there any requires parts for the 2060?

If you play competitive games add a 144Hz monitor if you dont have one already so you can put those frames to good use. Otherwise you can just max out the graphics settings and enjoy the AAA titles in 60Hz itself.

I agree. I'm more of an ultra+ gfx settings type. But if you like to game competitively, you may want to go the 144Hz route instead.

I don't think u should upgrade anything else since ddr5 is right around the corner and in couple of months 10th intel and 4th gen ryzen will be out but there rumors of nvdia's 3000 series coming out next year so id wait it out if i was going for high end and that's if the rumors are true in the first place

You'd have to enable ray tracing to choke a 2060 down to ~60FPS @ 1080p
