What SSD 1TB hard drive should I get for laptop ?

Hi there,

I am thinking to upgrade the laptop to SSD (at least 1TB). What brand would you suggest? Are there other options I should consider before I upgrade?

The Samsung 850 EVO is a great choice.

Make sure you know what type of SSD you need. Like M.2 or a 2.5 inch one.

The 850 EVO is still awesome, just a tad expensive at the 1 TB price point...

The best 2.5" is the 850 evo, and the best m.2 is the 960 evo (assuming mobo supports nvme). if you don't want to spend $330 on a 850 evo any SSD will be very close, if not the same, in performance.

The PNY 1 TB SSD works fine for my desktop (i5 processor and 16 GB RAM). Their support is great as well. It is cheaper than the Samsung Evo.
