[SOLVED] What switch is the same shape as Razer green Switch on Razer Blackwidow 2014?

OKAY so im looking forward to buy an used Razer Blackwidow 2014 with Razer green Switch, since the price has dropped so much in the used market.

So there is one selling for around 15usd For Razer Blackwidow 2014. But the switch for key "alt" has broken. Im looking forward to buy it and replace the switch.
So my question is, does cherry switch will fit the razer green switch ? Or i have to buy only razer green switch ?

No you can't replace those switches with other brands. Keyboards should have two Alt keys though so if only one is broken it's not a huge deal.

Thank u for replying, very good idea. But wanna ask, i have read somewhere said cherry switch might fit bcause the size is pretty smilliar

Buy one and see. Razer switches are their own thing, they don't use MX switches, just looking at the size won't help you, what about mounting holes, posts, key cap fitting.

OP, if this were as easy to do as just swapping in a new switch, the person wouldn't be trying to sell the used keyboard for $15. Just to put in the identical switch in a very large percentage of keyboards will involve precise soldering.

I know how to solder the switch on the board, but my experience only with outemu switches.
