What to buy? MSI or acer?

Hey folks,
i´m looking for a new laptop and found 2 interesting prodcuts..

First the MSI-GE700-i5447LW7P which has a reasonably long battery life for a 17" laptop.

OR second the Acer aspire 7745G.

Both of them cost almost the same and both got good test results and are equal in performance ratings....

WHich i laptop is better in ur view and whY? and i dont mind other suggestions

Between the two, I'd go for the Acer because the HD 5850 is much better than the HD 5730 in the MSI.

The ratings also generally favor the Acer over the MSI:
Performance: Acer - 91% / MSI - 80%
Display: Acer - 70% / MSI - 50%
Workmanship: Acer - 86% / MSI - 70%
Ergonomics: Acer - 82% / MSI - 70%

The only thing the MSI has going for it is that it is slightly cheaper, and slightly smaller and therefore has a 10% increase in Mobility and perhaps battery life but not much else.

But at that price range, you could also get a 16" with an i7 CPU like this one:

I'd go for this one if you want a better CPU, but pick the Acer if you want the better GPU.

I have had good luck with both brands. It comes down to which system you like best.

Thank you for your helpful answers. I have decided not to buy the ASUS laptops because of their short battery life. They hardly last over 2h.....
ANd I went to a local laptop seller and looked at the Acer. I have to admit that i was disappointed about the bad keyboard which should be for so much money much better. Does somebody know how th MSI keyboard is?
