what to check b4 buying?

i'm going to get abit kt7a-raid + 800mhz athlon t/b. what actually i need to check out on getting the right thing for overclocking? cpu with closed L1, ..... ?

if i can afford 900mhz athlon t/b, is it better to get that chip and overclock it?

last question, is that really a *need for getting 300w PSU? it's kinda expensive in my country..

I have a tb900@1050 seems that you can average 150 over with this cpu and air cooling. Try to get a blue core if you can. Also I would go with at least a 300 watt power supply. If you want a stable system it all begins with the power supply...

300 watts is a minimum for an overclocked Athlon system and if you are planning to use any of the Geforce cards I recommend 350 watts. The key being to get at least 20 amps for the 3.3 volt line. (You might find this on a 300 watt PSU but probably not). If you have a lot of drives you need plenty of 12 volt power as well.
