What to do with an old Compaq Presario

I have an old Compaq desktop laying around the house. It is a compaq presario s4000v. Does anyone have any suggestions on what I could do with it. Like an NAS or stuff like that. Thanks!

Also, it doesn't turn on (although it is an old computer so I'm guessing it needs a new power supply).

It's probably a Pentium 4 CPU. Old, slow, power hungry, hot.

Probably not. That is almost certainly an IDE drive.
An adapter for that would cost as much as a new SATA DVD drive.
