[SOLVED] What type Of SSD Upgrade should I Refer?

Hello there,
I want to ask a question for my laptop.
I wanted to do a SSD upgrade absolutely because of decrease in performance and also because I don't have one.
(Please share email to have a look at the slot if needed, because I am not able to post it here.)
So, please suggest me for what type(SATA or ATA or PCIe) of SSD should I go for.

Sata 2.5" ssd notebook supports, there's no ata and no support for pcie.

2.5" ssd will be fine. You'll need to reinstall Windows so have drivers downloaded and ready from HP's website for your model and backup anything important to an external hdd or usb thumb drive.

My conclusion as well. The boards for that model range do tend to have M.2 slots, but I imagine that is just for the wireless cards, probably mSATA, no mount points for longer SSDs (or room)

Crucial make m2 ssds so for them not to advertise support for your specific model means it doesn't. Besides, you'll want Windows installed on the ssd since that will be the biggest difference.

Just keep it simple.
Go to the crucial site that has been shown and get a 2.5 ssd of the size you want.
Clone hdd to ssd.
Remove hdd and install ssd.
Done.

M2 adapter, using hdd bay, meaning replace hdd. Specifications doesn't mention m2 slot. If there is I don't see it.

Best way imo, replace hdd with 2tb 2.5" ssd, reinstall or clone Windows and call it a day. Preferably reinstall so you have experience.

You do not have a m.2 slot so you can quit looking at those disk.
What are you trying to get done are you looking for faster storage or more storage or both?

In that case Seagate ssd is fine. Check ssds by Crucial, Mx500, may be cheaper.
